STRONGER AT EVERY AGE

'

"When my previous trainer moved out of state, I thought I’d have to look around before settling on someone who could take my particular needs into account. Yet from the very first session, I knew Nick Serritella had all the qualities I was seeking: he is professional, hard-working, extremely knowledgeable, and encouraging. Always upbeat and positive, he makes every session fun. He has a sensitivity to know how just how hard to push me in order to get the best results. When I told him I had osteoporosis, without my asking, he did some research on specific exercises that would most benefit me. Nick always has my best interests at heart. It is clear he loves what he does and his enthusiasm for a healthy lifestyle is contagious. I feel fortunate to have him as my trainer!"

Frequently asked questions

Have a different question and can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Make sure to contact us today and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

How does small group training work?
You train in a group of 4 or fewer for 45 minutes with a certified coach. It is not a one-size-fits-all class: your exercises, weights, and progressions are set for you, while the person next to you follows theirs. You get private training quality at a group training price. Your first class is free.
Will I be expected to keep up with younger or fitter people?
Never. There is no class pace to keep up with. Your exercises, weights, and rest are set for you, and your coach is close enough to adjust anything on the spot.
Is senior fitness right for me if I haven't exercised in years?
Absolutely. We meet you at your current level and progress gradually. Your free intro class is coached at your pace so we can see where you are starting from and keep every workout safe and comfortable for you.
Can you work around injuries or medical conditions?
Yes. Your coach tailors every session around your needs, and we are happy to coordinate with guidance from your doctor or physical therapist so your training supports your health.
Do I need clearance from my doctor before starting?
If you manage a medical condition or your doctor has asked you to check before beginning new exercise, we recommend getting their clearance first. We are glad to work alongside your physician so your plan fits your needs.
Will I train one-on-one or in a small group?
You train in a small group of 4 or fewer, which keeps the coaching personal and the atmosphere friendly. Private one-on-one training is also available on request through our contact form.
What should I wear or bring to my first session?
Comfortable clothing you can move in and supportive sneakers are all you need. Bring water and a short note of any medications or conditions so your coach can plan around them.
How long is each session?
Small group sessions are 45 minutes, with the pace and exercises adjusted to your energy level and ability.
